With today being Christmas Day, we want to take the opportunity and say THANK YOU.

Thank you for your generosity, your enthusiasm, your input and support. We are continuously impressed with many fantastic ways it is now used by kids and educators around the world.

On the mission to help get kids have fun AND get ready for the next century, we have seen Littlecodr selected for the Amazon STEM games list and the Indigo Chapters "Cool Tech Toys". Everyday more and more people can discover the game in toy and science museum stores. We saw teachers across many countries adapt Littlecodr and present their innovations at educational conferences. Parents sent us awesome photos of kids getting the game for birthdays and Christmas and playing it throughout the year, including doing the instructions to home made treasure hunt games #LOVEIT!

Going into 2017, there are many possibilities for this game, and if we weren't so focused on doing our day jobs as tech software founders, Littlecodr could be so much more, not just because it seems to do really well with young kids at home as well as help teachers with kids and teens in schools. It's more versatile and much less expensive that the number of games focusing on teaching kids STEM skills.

For sure, also check out the following coding related resources:

We also really appreciate all the connections and suggestions on what we could do with Littlecodr that have come from all of you. If you have more ideas, please share them on our Facebook page, we'd love to hear from you. And share your photos, we LOVE photos of all the creative ways different people find to enhance the game experience!

Wishing you a wonderful relaxing holiday season with your loved ones and a fantastic start into 2017.

Dear Littlecodr supporters,

It's been beyond exciting to have shipped the sets and to start receiving your photos by email, on Twitter and Facebook. Seeing the game in stores and being played is simply amazing!!!

Plus we got featured TODAY on Product Hunt, Games category - with many upvotes from all the techies on that site who love innovative ideas.

Back to practical details:

  • If you haven't received yours yet, not to worry it's coming - should be arriving within a week, by Dec 14th and if not, please email us so we can track it for you.
  • If you didn't confirm your address in the email we sent in November via Backerkit, please find it and if you can't, please let us know.
  • To order any additional sets, the online store is live and shipping in time for Christmas if you need a present for anyone on your list , and we can do free shipping on orders over $50. Do hurry as delivery times have been strained by the popularity of e-commerce.

Big shout out to donors Praveen Varshney from Vancouver and Crispy Science kids programs from Oregon, as well as our 15 coding ambassadors (Antoine Bouthers, Avi Finkel, Cameron Blandy, Casey Cady, Dan Slee, Darlene Higbee Clarkin , Delon Cheung, Elena Tuason Verlee , Etienne Brunet, Gordon Hamilton, Marcin Popielarz, Pankaj Agarwal, Robert Zalaudek, Serge Salager and Wendi Davies). Their generosity sent the game to schools in Vancouver, Oregon and Saudi Arabia!

We also hugely appreciate all your help to spread the word. Particularly, if anyone has any contacts in media, in stores or in schools, we'd love to speak.

Last but not least, we'd love to know all the creative ways the little coders in your life have made it work! Keep sending us ideas and comments at [email protected].

Littlecodr Prototype Set
Littlecodr Prototype Set

Dear Backers,

We have kept things quiet since our Kickstarter campaign wrapped up back in July and we are finally ready to check in with some exciting news.

After far more rounds of revisions than we ever could have imagined, we are thrilled to report that copies of Littlecodr are now rolling off the press! We have a great printing partner and the product looks just as we had hoped.

As we get ready to start shipping, the first thing we need to do is make sure that we have your correct address. We are using a company called BackerKit to handle all of the address verification and shipping details. Please watch for an email from them shortly and be sure to complete their address survey as soon as you can.

If your pledge was to buy sets for schools, we will be sending you a separate email to ask which school(s) you would like your copies sent to.

Thank you as always for your support of this project. We cannot wait to get these games in your hands and in the hands of students all around the world!

Please watch for your BackerKit email shortly.

Cheers,
Alex & Nathan
